Sharita Jennings has been a digital nomad since 2018, after leaving her traditional legal career in Washington, DC behind. There was no one defining moment that led her to move abroad, just a constant desire to shake things up in her life and travel the world slowly.

Sharita’s original plan was to stay abroad for 6 months…fast forward almost 4 years later Sharita has lived in 5 countries and 8 cities mostly in Latin America and Europe. Hear her thoughts on scouting trips, dating abroad, becoming a travel content creator, and an unexpected return to the legal profession.

Following years of global travel and exploration, she relocated to Portugal, where she continues building a life by design — not by default.

Today, Chrishan has become a trusted voice in the global living space, inspiring Black women around the world to question inherited definitions of success and imagine more expansive possibilities for how they live, work, age, and move through the world.
